- Understanding the software Requirement Specification document.
- To verify the functionality of the application based on requirements.
- Carrying out manual and database testing
- Tracking defects, preparing defects tracking reports.
- Report software defects and interact with developers to resolve technical issues and to research possible root causes of defects.
- Meet schedules and deadlines as per the project requirements.
- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness to mitigate risks.
- Prepare Test Scenarios/Test Cases, Test Data and execute functional and non-functional testing.
- Assist development and support teams in resolving customer issues.
- Participate in environment tuning efforts and produce recommendations and guidelines
- Responsible for mentoring a small team on project basis.
