- 1 - 3 years of experience in software testing-manual with strong ability to
- Interact with test manager and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
- Grasp the requirements quickly and derive/suggest test strategies based on business need
- Derive test plans independently highlighting risks & mitigation
- Design and create test conditions and scripts to effectively test business requirements
- Arrive at the trace ability matrix between requirements and test cases
- Perform peer reviews
- Execute and analyse test results
- Effective Defect reporting and Tracking using defect tracking tools
- Database knowledge, mainly in Oracle/SQL Server.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self initiative and commitment to accomplish assigned tasks
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Mentor and guide new QA members related to functionality
- Track and provide appropriate status updates & risk escalations on Test progress to Test Manager
- Has a flare for identifying and automating the regression/time consuming scenarios using freeware/market prevailing automation tools.
