Job Description:
- Oversee the full STLC including Test Plan, Validation and delivery
- Take complete ownership and responsibility of functional areas
- Participate in testing and QA of functional domain of the Business applications
- Work with the teams to formalize and introduce the best and most appropriate testing / QA strategies across the team
- Governance of product quality
- Design frameworks for Functional Test Specifications/ Test Cases
- Compile a rigorous QA Plan to adhere to product release target dates
- Liaising with other product team members for task allocation and tracking them
- Remain up to date with functional and technical changes within the product
- Ensure that processes & standards are understood & complied with
- Ensure that regression plans get updated regularly
- Track all aspects of the Testing scope, schedule, effort, staff, risks etc
- Mentor, train & coach team
- Actively participate in hiring process including conducting interviews and making hiring recommendations/ decisions
- Allocate and schedule work for team members and define tasks for team members
- Escalate team issues when necessary to the next level for resolution

- Sound knowledge regarding STLC and testing processes and techniques
