- B.Sc. or higher degree in Computer Science or similar field with good results
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and SDLC methods
- Programming experience in Java or similar OOP language like C# or C++
- Experience in test methodology and automated (unit) testing.
- Working understanding of usability for assessing product usability
- Proficiency in using tools such as Selenium / JMeter / QTP or similar
- Familiarity with testing Web Services
- Performance and load testing experience
- Writing SQL queries of moderate complexity
- Strong problem solving skills
- Task driven with a great attitude and excellent communication skills
- Passion for software quality and for advancing testing as en engineering discipline
- Ability to work and participate in a team with open and collaborative style of communications
- Strong oral and written English
