- Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience with HP Quick Test Pro and Quality Center with a thorough understanding of HP Quick Test Pro version 10.0 or higher.
- QTP coding experience using frameworks is essential.
- Experience with Win32 family of operating systems;
- a working knowledge of XML, Hands-on experience with a large-scale SQL Database Management System.
- Must be detail oriented with strong problem solving skills. Able to write test scripts requiring minimum maintenance, understandable logic, well-structured, with appropriate comments, and clear naming conventions.
- Automation techniques using best practices - i.e. data-driven, function libraries.
- Ability to communicate and document technical concepts.
- Advanced knowledge of standard QA methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Management.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Possess the ability to perform in a technical team, and interface with the client as needed.
- Very Desirable skills include either VB or VBScript experience.
