Job Description:
- 2-7 years of overall IT experience, preferably in domain of software development &testing
- Good knowledge ofMSSQL Server and / or Oracle database
- Experience with reports testing, preferably SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports
- Good experience with SQL development and scripting. Proficient withSQL queries, DDL, DML& DCL
- Ability to test all database objects (Schemas, Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, UDFs)
- Good experience with database testing. Ability to test for data consistency &quality
- Experience with Automation Testing Frameworks. Familiarity with tools for UI / Performance / Stress testing
- Experience with tools used for database development & testing
- Experience generating test data using manual or automated means
- Good experience preparingand validating test plans, test cases and traceability matrices
- Ability to analyze, define, executeand document test scenarios & test cases for both functional &non-functional requirements
- Ability to review test assets (test plans, test cases, test data etc.)
- Good attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness oftesting activities & processes
- Good knowledge of SDLC, and best practices for development & testing
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
