Job Description:

• Participates in the elicitation of requirements as appropriate. Reviews requirements for understandability  completeness and feasibility from a testing perspective.
• Ensures the quality and integrity of all testing designs, including the adherence to standards, project testing requirements and best practices. Identifies testing risks related to the design and drives the mitigation of those risks.
• Drive the entry and exit criteria for testing phases. This includes ensuring that integration, system, performance and regression testing has been completed and documented before accepting work packages for any phase of testing.
• Sets up the test environment, Reports the Status of testing activities to project manager, Reviews the project release and executes testing as per the Test Plan, Prepares and analyzes the defect status report along with the project team
• Responsible for the automation of manual testing procedures and processes wherever possible
