Job Description:

• Minimum of 3 years hands on test automation experience
• Ability to translate manual test steps into automated steps using QTP/UFT, VBScript, and descriptive programming (without using recording tools and/or without using object repository)
• Ability to develop robust, efficient automation, driven by external data files, with messaging designed to maximize value, and with minimized maintenance cost
• Ability to enhance or create test automation frameworks
• Have hands-on experience in creating automated test scripts using QTP
• Commitment to utilize the automation framework, programming standards and guidelines
• Ability to contribute to effective peer reviews and apply peer recommendations, enhancing the success of the team
• Proactive communication with management and project leads and willingness to perform special projects as required or requested
• Ability to resolve critical and complex technical issues and work independently with minimal supervision
• Be able to generate the correct set of data to test application
• Create status reports/metrics using MS applications like Excel/PowerPoint/Project
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
