Should have very good understanding of various processes related to testing.
Should have good knowledge and expertise in various Layer2 and Layer3 networking protocols.
Should be able to understand requirements and come up with test cases for L2/ L3 protocols testing.
Should have extensive debugging skills. - Application Testing( L3)
Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like UnitIntegration, System, Acceptance, Regression testingand should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready- test cases.
Should understand Test Plans, Requirement TraceabilityMatrix, Orthogonal Array Tool. Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliabilityanalysis effectively with DFA tool. - Datacom( L2)

You have hands- on experience with TCL/ TK with knowledge of configuring it tosuit customer requirements.
Knowledge of troubleshooting/ debugging the problemsencountered with limited support from others.
Your troubleshooting capacityshould be very high so that you can even resolve issues which are notdocumented somewhere else.
Knowledge about Iterating and use in procedures ofArrays, Invoking subprocesses from TCL, Building reusable libraries - packagesand namespaces & Creating Commands
