- 5+ years in the Information Technology industry (3+ years as a Software Quality Engineer/Test Engineer /Test Analyst)
- In depth experience in writing detailed and accurate test cases, test scripts, and test results
- Extensive experience performing hands-on testing (both script based and exploratory)
- Experience in testing Microsoft platform upgrade - platform compatibility testing
- Experience with SQL and data retrieval from a relational database is a plus
- Documenting and tracking defects to closure
- Strong working knowledge of Quality Center, TFS
- Being a team player that can deliver in a high pressure and high demanding environment
- Very good understanding of various SDLC process including Agile development and testing.
- Good Experience of testing methodologies and end to end testing
- Ability to communicate in a precise and effective manner (verbal and written)
- Quick learners and excellent analytical skills
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering/Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of automation is a plus
