Job Description:

Creation and implementation of Automation Strategies and Frameworks.
Defining automated test scripts using predefined test cases or scenarios.
Maintenance of existing product test scripts.
Creation and maintenance of relevant test documentation for script deployment and script usage.
Ensure compliance in quarterly SCM reviews.
Influences technical direction and use of technologies after making necessary evaluations and feasibilities. Where tools do not fully meet requirements, writes code (proxy) / develops components that can extend available tools or even design & develop tools as needed.
Is involved in understanding business requirements and work with the architect and development team to make any design improvements and refinement as needed to incorporate automation testability into product.
Reviews estimations, code and documents (design, release etc.) provided by the automation engineers in the SBU.
Work in Agile teams to implement effective strategy to handle regression.
Attend and contribute to regular review sessions with project teams.
Proactively raise any issues along with possible solutions that may impact the teams ability to meet project time scales
