Job Description:

Drafting a strategy for performance tests and carrying out tests for large scale complex applications - This includes the collection of performance requirements, definition of test configuration, design of load test scenarios, development of test data and scripts, execution of test and finding critical bottlenecks, write test report with conclusions and recommendations that would help the developers and users of the application.
Good knowledge of Performance Engineering concepts like - Benchmarking, Tuning, Modeling, Sizing and Capacity Planning.
Exposure to Complex Event Processing, In Memory Data Grid
Experience on Windows and unix OS Tuning, caching.
Good Understanding of Network Protocols and Tuning (eg. TCP/IP)
Experience with Java and C languages
Working knowledge DB and tuning (eg. Oracle , SQL Server)
Working knowledge of atleast one application server (eg. websphere, Weblogic, JBoss etc.) and J2EE Technology
Conceptual knowledge of multithreaded and even driven system design
Knowledge of Test Automation, Monitoring and Profiling Tools - for CPU , Memory and disk
Perl Shell scripting and other scripting languages is a plus.
