Job Description:

Manual Test Execution on any of standard [L2/L3 Network Elements]. Preferable Cisco/Juniper/Ericsson/Dell/Alcatel Products .
Bringing up the test setup, configuring and verification of various L2/L3 features like VLAN, STP, QoS, OSPF, BGP, L3VPN, IGMP etc
Configuring traffic generators like Ixia [IxNetwork], Spirent [STC], Agilent [N2X] etc
Test Plan preparation
Troubleshooting of issues during test execution
Recreation of customer/field issues
Bug Reporting, Bug Recreating, Bug Fix Validation
Linux/Unix and Windows Operating Systems
Test Process Cycle
Should be ready to learn Test Automation using either of scripting languages [Tcl, Python and Perl]
Should be strong at timely communication skills, possess good work attitude, flexibility and ability to learn and work independently
