Job Description:
- 2-7 years of IT experience.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in QTP test automation tool.
- Good understanding/Exposure on Automation Frameworks.
- Should be able to perform feasibility analysis for test automation using QTP.
- Experience in providing the automation estimations, Identifying automation solutions for any risk identified.
- Experience in identifying and developing reusable functions related to application pages/functionalities.
- Experience in automation scripts integration between QTP, HP ALM.
- Experience in scripting using Visual Basic wherever required.
- Experience in trouble shooting and debugging the automation scripts and support for the team.
- Experience in Descriptive programming (Important as we apply this on PLM tool most of the places.)
- Experience in script reviews against framework and expected functionality from the test cases.
- Should be an Individual contributor for developing the scripts in-line with the defined framework.
- Experience in Test life cycle, Testing methodologies, Testing types, Test design techniques, Test Case Preparation.
- Testing exposure: Functional testing, System Integration testing (E2E)
- Testing tools experience: HP ALM is must.
- Experience in an Agile development environment, Continuous Integration (CI) process.
- Scripting/Programming JAVA Script, VB Script.
- Knowledge/familiarity with other technical concepts and tools: SQL, XML, SOAP (web services), Oracle, Remote Desktop, VDI/VM.
- ISTQB certification is preferred.
- Good in Communication, Email writing, Reporting skills, Pro-active, A team player, Consultative, Collaborative.
