Job Description:

Preparing Test Scenarios, Test Cases for module, Functional and system testing.
Preparing Test Data for the test cases.
Perform Functional, Regression and System testing.
Execute test cases.
Prepare reports; coordinate with the testing and development teams.
Should have very good test analytical skills.
Understand functional requirements, reviews the same and provide suggestions on change in the requirements.
Get clarifications on ambiguous requirements.
Ability to translate functional requirements into detailed test design scenarios and test cases.
Review the test cases.
Execute the test cases covering all the requirements without any defect in production.
Does sanity, regression testing.
Identify and log defects in defects tracking tool JIRA. Ability to prioritize defects.
Prepare the test results and test or defects reports required for the test lead/manager.
Identify any issues, risks and communicate the same to the lead.
Root cause analysis and defect diagnosis techniques to reduce the defects rejection and leakage.
Experience in software Testing/Functional consultant/Business Analyst role
Prior experience in manual / functional testing is a must. QA / Testing experience in BFSI/Finance/Mutual Funds domain is preferred.
Experience in test management tools QC/ALM/ IBM Rational Quality Manager.
