Job Description:

Responsible for design, development and maintenance of a robust performance test practices Maintenance and upgrade of the automation process with updates periodically
Publish and perform the Load/Stress tests and certify the release for various performance levels
Work closely with development, engineering, sys/db ops to define performance requirements
Analyze and report the test results to facilitate easy understanding for the respective teams
Knowledge of any Programming language (preferably Java)
Have White box testing skills to analyse and profile the code to find bottlenecks
Extrapolate and extend the results for certifying production SLA
Maintenance and addition of performance test cases to meet requirements
Hand-on experience of Tomcat and Apache
Hand-on experience in Java
Experience in writing scripts to generate and run test suites (loadrunner/ Silkperformer/Jmeter)
Strong understanding of databases concepts
Strong SQL knowledge
Good knowledge in testing methods & techniques, SDLC/STLC
Able to work within a fast paced environment
Good communication and problem solving skills
