Job Description:

The ideal candidate would possess the ability to generate and execute test cases/use cases to validate the system , have a knack of finding bugs/defects in the system and have prior knowledge of QA process, practices and strategies.
As a QA Engineer for the VCP suite of products, you will play a key role in the execution of functional test scenarios for the purpose of validating complex, multi-tiered distributed software applications.
You will collaborate with other QA Engineers, Project Managers, Software Developers, Database Administrators (DBAs), and Operations staff to:
Analyze product functionality to create and execute upon detailed and comprehensive test plans.
Prepare and facilitate manual and automated test execution, update test execution results, and report status, escalating issues as appropriate.
Perform defect reporting of any functional issues and tracking through to resolution.
Identify project risks and recommend actions to minimize risk.
