- Prepare Clarification document & Understand the Application under Test
- Identify and understand Scope of work
- Prepare & review Scenarios, test conditions, test cases & scripts
- Prepare & Review Test data
- Execute test cases
- Prepare / Review Defect Log
- Preparing status reports on test design and execution
- Attending defect review meetings
- Interact with customers and other technical support staff to ensure effective resolution of problems
- Present test results to individuals and groups
- Guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel
