- Expected to step down to work and assist at all levels in the reporting hierarchy leading up to himself/herself
- Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance
- Contribute for preparing test plans
- Preparing Requirement Traceability Matrix
- Preparing Test Cases for any required testing types
- Preparation Defect Log
- Preparation of Test Summary Report
- Analysing test bed for performance testing
- Implementation of quality assurance practices and procedures
- Writes and maintains test documentation
- Ensures quality assurance standards are achieved
- Reviewing Smoke Testing Checklist whenever its needed
- Reviewing GUI Testing Checklist whenever its needed
- Preparing Testing Guidelines for specified project (if applicable)
- Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts
- Escalate quality concerns to direct supervisor
- Conducts audits and reviews/analyses data and documentation
- Observes and responds to changing conditions
- Exhibits sincere efforts in conducting training and development for others
- Timely conducts performance reviews and identifies cause of shortcomings
- Demonstrates teamwork orientation
