- Becoming an expert in the respecting Domain
- Ability and desire to understand ERP Products functionality
- Ability to analyze and understand the end-to-end business processes, and write their respective test cases
- Provides experience on inquiring and analyzing interactions between the products modules and write comprehensive integration tests.
- Writes Test Procedures/ Test Cases and under direction may also write Test Plans.
- Ability develop Testing Framework for Product Testing
- Testing Software Releases in the Product/Project Development
- Reports test results and enter problems and issues into the bug database.
- Monitors and updates bug reports as needed including bug report closure
- Configures necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing
- Provides technical expertise on specific products, operating systems and specialized environments.
- Writes or assists in the development of test cases.
- Completes assigned test-related tasks.
- Manages the defect database.
- To ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained through to software release
- To provide estimates and feedback to Test/project Manager for project Scheduling purpose
- To Provide and communicate clear status about the application under test
