- Strong knowledge of QA processes, methodologies & best practices.
- 3+ years of QA experience with UI, black box, white box testing of web based and client/server applications.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and commands. Understanding/experience with installation and configuration on Windows and Linux.
- Knowledge of scripting tools such as Perl and UI test automation tools such as Selenium, SilkTest to automate manual test cases
- Experience working with Perforce
- Experience with problem tracking systems, like, Jira and other Atlassian products.
- Agile testing experience
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with little direction as well as with a team
- Excellent communication skills;
- ability to articulate thoughts/opinions on tools/processes clearly
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
