- 2 to 10 of years of hands on experience in Manual testing
- 5 + years of experience in leading the team, Project, analysis and definition, Develop, manage and track detailed project plans to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- 4+ years of experience in any one of the P&C Insurance Domain like Auto, Motor and Home
- Strong knowledge in QA process which aligns with SDLC
- Proven track record of producing and meeting plans and schedules for a variety of technical projects
- Strong experience in functional, UAT and regression testing
- Good experience in requirements Analysis,Test Strategy Definition, Project Planning & Tracking, Test Plan Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Case Preparation, Test Scripting and Execution
- Reviewing the current test case suites and providing suggestion to strengthen
- Suggestion to provide improvement on building test strategy and test case documents
- Ensure metrics data is captured for the project and computation of testing metrics
- Collaborate with global teams (Onsite & Offshore) on regular basis to ensure project testing needs are being met.
- Good understand and exposure to managing detailed project plan
- Organize the project meetings, defect triage meetings, review sessions, trainings & workshops as needed - Work with development to resolve defects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Review the test scenarios/cases Assign tasks to testing team members and ensure that all of them have sufficient work in the project
- Prior experience in Agile software development methodology and testing
- Strong understanding of test case creation and execution concepts and best practices
- Create QA Task List in order to meet objectives and deadlines
- Participate in Requirement & Design Doc review session; evaluate requirements & design docs from a quality test automation standpoint
- Document defects and evaluate priority of defect based on overall application functionality
