- Test Planning: Preparing test design documents and test cases for software applications
- Test Automation: Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using automated testing software
- Test Execution: Executing manual and automated test cases and reporting results - Review, analyze and comprehend software requirements.
- Create and update test cases and test data based on review comments or new requirements or from other specifications
- Estimate testing scope and time requirements
- Establish environment and debug environment issues
- Execution of test cases
- Report defects
- Prepare test reports and communicate testing status to supervisor
- Analyze test exectution to find causes and workarounds for defects
- Identify key issues in software applications through testing processes
- Receive and provide training per requirements, features or testing
- Escalate issues to supervisors or managers
- other duties as assigned.
