- Review user requirements, functional specifications and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with project managers, systems analysts and developers to provide QA test estimates
- Develop and maintain manual test scripts throughout the production release cycle
- Develop and maintain regression test scripts based on current business practices.
- Execute test scripts, perform functional/system integration/regression and performance testing
- Evaluate and test new or modified software programs to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to functional specification
- Collaborate with QA team to identify and plan test automation strategy
- Perform root cause analysis; have SQL proficiency and the ability to isolate system problems
- Provide clear written and verbal communication on defects, test results and status to the systems analysts, project managers, and developers
- Contribute to continuous process improvement of the QA department
- Provide defects / performance metrics when necessary
