Job Description:
- Analysing the Requirements from the client
- Participating in preparing Test Plans
- Preparing Test Scenarios and designing Test Cases for Functional Testing, Peer Testing System and Integration Testing
- Preparing Test Datas for the test cases
- Executing and Analysing the Test Cases prepared by other team members
- Defect Tracking using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla or QC(Quality Center)
- Must have working knowledge of testing tools preferably automation (Specflow, WatiN for Xamarin, Selenium)
- Good to have BDD Behavior-driven development, TDD (Test Driven Development) and ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) testing of Web and Mobile App
- Knowledge of Databases -Writing SQL Queries, Executing them
- Preparing Summary Reports
- Communication with the Test Lead / Test Manager
- Fully responsible for Deliveries
- Participating and contributing in Review Meetings within the Team
- Working with peer engineers, architects and teams to complete assigned projects in defined timeframe
- Decision of acceptance criteria, exit criteria, resumption criteria of the tests, and participate in the go/no-go meeting.
- Conduct training for various tools to teams and product architects
- Good documentation skills and assist test lead during test planning
- Must be willing to stretch himself for catering to various business needs at critical needs
- Ability to travel nationally / internationally as required by business demand
- Mandatory Skills
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC
- Experience in creating test artifacts (Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Defect Reports)
- Knowledge in Automation Testing (Specflow, WatiN for Xamarin)
- Working knowledge in defect tracking tools like JIRA
- Experience in databases (connecting to DB, executing SQL queries)
- Good communication skills
- Ready to travel as per business demand
- Good to have Skills
- Language Proficiency like (C#, Java)
- TDD (Test Driven Development), ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development), and BDD (Behavior-driven development).
