- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Understand application testing requirements and test strategy
- Development of automation scripts as per approved automation test suite document
- Automation of applications using AJAX, Flash and iFrames
- Creating reusable assets for Selenium automation
- Good knowledge of Java/.Net/VBScript languages is a must
- Integration of automation scripts for continuous integration build with ANT, NANT, Maven, Bamboo, Hudson, CruiseControl etc and setting up automation scripts for unattended execution
- Ensure complete customer focus in deliveries including managing requirements, reviews, obtaining acceptance plans and feedbacks
- Mentoring other team members on Selenium and implementation of automation framework and automation scripts
- Defining best practices, framework approach for Selenium based automation
- Creating reusable assets for Selenium automation
- Quest to learn new automation tools and scripting languages
- Skills Required:
- Experience in creating Test Strategy and Plan
- Experience in designing and developing Selenium framework
- Experience in automation of AJAX, Flash and iFrames using Selenium
- Very good knowledge of VbScript
- Understanding requirements and creating automation test scenarios for developing automation scripts
- Execution of test cases and bug reporting
- Knowledge of atleast one continuous integration build tool - ANT, NANT, Maven, Bamboo, Hudson, CruiseControl
- Defect triage and root cause analysis
- Excellent skills on at least one OS (Windows/Linux/Unix) and DB (SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL)
- Experience in automated testing of web/device Testing
