- Strong functional and DB knowledge.
- Hands on with any automation tool such as UFT/Selenium
- Good scripting knowledge
- Analyze business requirements/FSDs and find and communicate requirement gaps
- Contribute to test plan documents and write test procedures
- Ensure that the Test Coverage is appropriate and meets the requirement of the project
- Execute test cases and report test results
- Be able to write automation scripts in QTP/UFT, code and debug them.Implement various keywrod driven / hybrid frameworksRaise defects in defect tracking tool
- Good experience with creating test data for testing needsContribute towards Estimation and Sizing of testing activities
- Should be able to identify problem areas in projects and communicate themContribute metrics collection and status reporting
- Exposed to Onsite/Offshore model and can articulate to the state side partners
- Must have strong understanding of the SDLC and Testing life cycle
- Strict adherence to timelines and focus on deliverables
- Excellent understanding of defect life cycle
- Able to write simple queries with exposure to database testing
- Knowledge of any defect tracking tool - HP ALM or equivalent
- Needs to have Good analytical skills and problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills and good team connect.
- Will be the POC for tha application that requires exposure of working with clients
- Strong oral and written communication
- Should be flexible to work in split shifts (2PM to 11PM) & stretch when needed
