Job Description:

• Proficient in manual testing and Database testing good understanding of testing life cycle and test processes.
• Good experience in SQL queries
• Given a high level test plan, should be able to analyse the risk and extract the test cases if its not already mentioned in the plan. Sometimes we even get the consultants to develop test plans and as such they are expected to have functional testing knowledge
• Well versed in working with developers and product managers.
• They should be able to understand the internals of a system and not just think from the UI point of view. Given a problem they should be able to look into the logs and try to understand the issue. 
• Our tests might need them to look into the API's and get into the DB level testing.
• Should be able to execute automation and add simple test cases to existing automation.
• Ability to write automation from scratch is a plus but not a requirement.
