Job Description:

• Quality Assurance experience in software product engineering companies/teams 
• Deep understanding of web based software products, and of how to break/test them 
• Expertise in writing/executing test plans/test cases, filing bugs and team communication wrt issues
• Expertise in coding automated test scripts using either Ruby and/or Python with recommended coding standards / best-practices
• Able to run manual testing (if needed) and creating strategies to automate manual tests.
• Sound knowledge of Linux, SQL, APIs and Messaging applications 
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology and Jira/other Agile tools for product testing
• Experience working in cross-site (India-US) Agile product engineering teams
• Proven ability and desire to deliver projects on time with high quality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to cope with and thrive in fast paced, dynamic work environment with evolving project requirements
• Self-driven, motivated and confident with personable approach. Ability to stand ground in discussions and raise questions
• Willingness to travel internationally for a few weeks or months if needed
• Ability to understand complex programs / environments in short period of time

• A passion to learn, deliver new products/features to the market and have a big impa
