Job Description:
- Design, build, and maintain a test automation suite using Selenium/Web driver, C#/Java and Coded UI.
- Translate functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans, cases and steps.
- Rigorously planning, writing and executing test scripts.
- Creation and maintenance of test data, tools and scripts.
- Perform script analysis and estimation.
- Raise defect reports and assist with the resolution of test case or data related issues.
- Execute scripts during regression test cycles in accordance with the agreed scope and schedule.
- Submit timely and accurate progress reports.
- Help identify and manage the risks and issues, and timely escalations.
- Work with manual testers and BA's to ensure upstream test planning is optimized for the efficient delivery of automated testing.
- Identify potential opportunities of saving manual testing efforts by leveraging test automation.
- Assist in manual functional and regression testing when required.
- Perform manual regression testing.
- Execute test plans and conduct functional and exploratory testing.
- Complete testing in line with agreed time frames.
- Follow the documented business processes using the appropriate test management and automation tools.
- Provide handovers to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Evaluate testing tools.
